Privacy Policy

Depending on how you use myPOV, this may include:

• Account information such as your name, email address and login details.
• Event information such as couple names, dates, times, venues and event details.
• Guest names provided when contributing to an event.
• User content including photos, videos, written wishes, voice recordings, logos, monograms and reference images.
• Design information you share with us for invitation or guestbook design work.
• Payment receipts, package selections and upgrade or activation status.
• Support communications.
• Technical, security, session and error information necessary to run the service.

Guests may contribute photos, videos, written wishes and, where available, voice recordings or short video clips. Contributions may be associated with the guest name provided, and their visibility follows the applicable event and privacy settings.

Where a Public or Private choice is offered, Private contributions are available to the couple or account owner, while Public contributions may also appear in shared or live event displays. Guests should only upload content they are authorised to share.

• Operate and personalise invitations and Memory Collections.
• Accept guest contributions and display them to the relevant couple or authorised event viewers.
• Provide the Digital Photobooth, Digital Audiobook and Digital Boomerang Booth where included.
• Generate event links and QR codes.
• Process payments, upgrades, account and activation communications.
• Provide support, moderation and security.
• Improve our services and meet legal obligations.

Unique event links and QR codes are designed to be shared and are not passwords — they can be forwarded by anyone who receives them. A gallery PIN may be available for additional access protection where enabled. Couples decide how they share their links, QR codes and access credentials.

The couple or account owner; event viewers where content is intended to be visible; service providers who help us operate the platform; professional advisers or contractors where needed; and authorities where legally required or permitted. We do not sell personal data to advertisers.

Some service providers may process information outside Brunei Darussalam. We use reasonable safeguards in line with applicable requirements.

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary. Guest contributions may remain during the Story Collection Period and the Memory Access Period. After the applicable access and retention periods, data may be deleted or anonymised, with limited retention for legal, security, accounting, dispute or backup purposes. Couples should download their memories before their Memory Access Period ends.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, though no platform can guarantee absolute security. If a data incident occurs, we will assess, contain, investigate and remediate it, and notify where the law requires.

Subject to applicable law, you may ask what data we hold, request access or correction, withdraw consent where applicable, request deletion where appropriate, and raise concerns. We may need to verify your identity, and legal exceptions may apply.

myPOV is not designed for children to create accounts independently. Users are responsible for having permission or a lawful basis before uploading other people's information, including information about children.

We may send service communications relating to your account and events, and marketing communications where permitted. We use browser storage and cookies for core functions such as sessions and event access. We may update this policy as our services and the law evolve.
